Who Will Teach Our Children?

Every morning, in hundreds of government schools across Karnataka, children walk into classrooms full of hope. But far too often, what greets them is not a teacher—but an empty chair.

At Al Ansaar Trust, we believe that education is the most powerful weapon to break the cycle of poverty and uplift communities. That belief drives our mission. Every year, we work tirelessly to support underprivileged government Kannada and Urdu schools by appointing qualified teachers and support staff. In the academic year 2024–25, we extended our support to 18 government schools, placing 40 dedicated teachers to ensure that learning never stops for the most neglected children in our society.

But this year, the crisis has deepened.

We have received urgent requests from 30 government schools—all asking for help, all desperate for teachers. They need 70 teachers. This is not a small number. It is a reflection of a system in distress.

What’s happening here?

Every year, hundreds of government school teachers retire. Their positions remain vacant—not for weeks or months, but for years. Recruitment is slow, policies are sluggish, and meanwhile, a whole generation of children is slipping through the cracks.

These are not just numbers. These are children. Children who want to learn, grow, and become responsible citizens. But with no teachers, no guidance, and no support, we are leaving them to the mercy of ignorance, apathy, and exploitation.

This is where Al Ansaar steps in. We refuse to let these children fall behind. But we cannot do this alone.

The reality is simple:

If we do not act now, we are losing a generation—a generation that could become leaders, doctors, scientists, artists, and visionaries… if only we gave them the chance.

The time a child spends in school must be meaningful. It must be filled with learning, discovery, care, and inspiration. Not idle hours in empty classrooms.

If we abandon them now, we are not just failing the child, we are failing society. A poorly educated population is more vulnerable to poverty, crime, and extremism. The cost of inaction will haunt us all.

This is a call to action.

We need you—concerned citizens, philanthropists, businesses, and kind-hearted individuals—to support Al Ansaar Trust in this noble cause.

  • Sponsor a teacher.

  • Adopt a school.

  • Spread the word.

  • Join hands with us to ensure no child is left behind.

Let us not wait for the government to act. Let us be the change-makers our children are waiting for.

Because when we fail to educate, we educate to fail.

Together, let's keep the flame of knowledge alive in every school, every classroom, and every child’s heart.

Support Al Ansaar Trust.

Support a future of dignity, equality, and opportunity.
