Golden Opportunity

On 16th may 2022 , govt schools across the state welcomed their students to a new academic year.

Al Ansaar was invited in 4 such schools by their respective HMs. Last year the combined strength in these 4 schools was about 1800 students. We are working on to bring all of them back to school.

Few things have changed this year.

For one - govt payments to guest teachers has been stopped. So the schools have to depend on NGOs / philanthropists to pay for any guest teacher they appoint.

Till last year we were supporting these schools with payments to 6 guest teachers. But this year we have to fund 12 teachers. For this purpose we need about ₹ 1.2lakh/month.

Apart from this there is also a need of a printer in one school, mats for children to sit in another school, a green board, desks & benches in another.

We plan to provide all of the above in order to enable the schools to impart good quality education to some of the poorest children from marginalised and underprivileged communities.

This is an opportunity to serve the poorest in our communities. One can -

1. Sponsor a teacher. Usually around ₹8000-10000/month.

2. Volunteer to teach primary school classes.

3. Donate a new / old (working condition) laser printer.

4. Donte / supply at a reasonable cost mats for children to sit.

5. Private schools can donate their disposable old furniture in good condition.
