At Al Ansaar, we recently concluded a successful summer camp designed to provide a safe and enriching environment for children from government schools, particularly those whose parents work throughout the month. During the camp, we offered lessons in basic English, basic Kannada, computer skills, art and craft, and karate. The experience was truly rewarding, as we witnessed the children thrive and develop new skills. (Refer the attached video ).

The final day of the camp featured a vibrant academic fair held at our trust. The highlight of the day was a poignant skit performed by the girls on the topic of child marriage, showcasing their newfound confidence and awareness. We also held a yellow belt ceremony, celebrating the achievements of nine children who had trained in karate, alongside four children who earned their white belts.

The feedback from parents was overwhelmingly positive. They expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude towards the trust and our generous donors. Parents were particularly thankful for providing a safe and nurturing environment where their children could spend their holidays productively, learning new skills and gaining valuable experiences.
